Youth—
At Sacred Village, we honour the red thread of our foremothers and the daughters and descendants who will carry forward the wisdom, care, and connection we nurture here. While our gathering is designed as a space where women can centre themselves, rest, explore, and reclaim their power, we also recognize the importance of welcoming the next generation into spaces where intergenerational care, continuity and lived practice can take root.
We trust each parent or guardian to use their discernment around whether this environment is appropriate for their child. Throughout the weekend, there will be offerings that explore emotional depth, grief, sensuality, nudity, and mature themes. Please consider this carefully in relation to your young one’s age, needs, and capacity.
Parents and guardians remain fully responsible for their children at all times during the festival. A waiver will be required at check-in acknowledging this responsibility and your commitment to their safety and care.
This year, we will not be offering a dedicated youth program. However, we will have a few youth-focused moments woven throughout the weekend, and many of the general offerings will be accessible and welcoming for young people. We intend to continue nurturing this aspect of the gathering in years to come as we grow our intergenerational pathways with care and intention.
To honour the container and remain aligned with the festival’s purpose as a space for women, we welcome girls only over the age of 4.
