Global Holistic Chef Doris Fin
Chef Doris Fin has been cooking for 30 years, and for more than half her life, she has traveled the world, letting food be her guide and greatest teacher. With a deep passion for culinary exploration, she has spent over 15 years catering wellness retreats, teaching interactive cooking classes, curating immersive five-course dining experiences, and collaborating with renowned chefs from around the world.
As a Global Holistic Chef, educator, and food alchemist, Doris believes that food is more than just sustenance—it is medicine, connection, and a profound expression of love. She is passionate about sourcing ingredients with intention, often going straight to the source, shaking hands (and hugging) farmers, foraging from forests and gardens, and creating meals that nourish both body and soul. Her work is deeply rooted in fostering community, particularly among women, as they gather to share, heal, and uplift one another through the ritual of food.
An entrepreneur and leader in holistic food offerings, Doris is the founder and creator of Fin Cakes and Fincicles—"Better Than Ice Cream Bars and Cakes." What began as a passion for plant-based desserts evolved into a mission to redefine indulgence. Five years ago, she transformed her signature Fin Cakes into Fincicles—organic, vegan ice cream bars that deliver both rich, satisfying flavours and wholesome, high-quality ingredients. This year Fincicles (Fins) will be available again in several flavours, along with warm, nourishing meals and comforting treats created to satiate and delight. Her food is more than just a meal—it is an experience, an offering of connection, and a celebration of nature’s abundance.
At the heart of her work, Doris remains guided by a simple yet powerful mission:
To create food that uplifts, connects, and heals.Because when people nourish themselves with intention, they nourish the world around them.
